CWSO is excited to host Sarah Fawn Montgomery for a virtual talk and Q&A that explores how we can create and sustain more inclusive workshop spaces. 

Sarah Fawn Montgomery, author of Quite Mad, continues to challenge contemporary narratives about mental health. Her latest craft book, Nerve: Unlearning Workshop Ableism to Develop Your Disabled Writing Practice, is available at Sundress Publications in print and audio formats.

Montgomery holds an MFA from California State University-Fresno and a PhD from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she worked as the longtime nonfiction editor for Prairie Schooner. She is an Associate Professor at Bridgewater State University, where she teaches creative writing and disability studies.
